Hello Everyone!
What a great idea, *giggle*
We can get all “Christmassy” with homemade egg candles while we endure yet more load-shedding. 
It is SO unfortunate that load-shedding has returned as the tourists arrive in our beautiful country.ย At the moment we are experiencing Stage 4 which means our power is off 3 times per day for 2.5 hours.
As you can imagine, it is really difficult on a farm without electricity. Baby chickens under lights, processing machinery etc. Even our water system needs power!
Luckily, I invested in a BIG generator last year! The 50KW Cummins diesel engine starts automatically and hums along merrily when needed. What a blessing, HER name is “Sparky”
It’s a huge extra expense, but we have to use it, or you won’t be eating our spectacular products this Xmas and New Year.
So let’s enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of our candles, hunker down in the darkness and pray that the power system is soon restored.
In the meantime, we have some great specials this week.
